My thoughts on school... This is going to be great to rant about. I have a lot I want to say about school actually. My current school is supposedly one of the top schools in the US. That is Bullshit. My school has many flaws and many false promises... The administration could care less about us. The teachers must suffer from anger problems. Some of my class mates must've eaten a lot of paint chips as kids. It's just not my favorite place in the world to spend the majority of my time. My personal wants and desires aren't accomplished here either. That's a big thing that bothers me. I've always been shy and when I want to be social, I get spat in the face. It's like being yourself and not a robot is a bad thing. I realize that this is present at every school but, it fucking pisses me off and things need to be said about it. The education system is flawed. The social skills learned are hard to learn because of how paranoid Americans are these days. Basically, we have small personal spaces, or bubbles. If someone gets within 5 feet of you, it's time to yell rape. Well, it shouldn't be like that. Can't we lower the barrier to maybe a foot or two? It's my understanding that social interactions are taught wrongly at a young age and it sticks. Very interesting to think about though.
