Love
So I realized that a lot of the time in high school, people are so focused on finding love. Why? You're between the ages of 14-18 and you want to find your soul mate or whatever? I'm purely against this, especially the people who claim to be in love after dating for a month or two. Sometimes even after a couple of weeks. I don't believe in love in high school. People, as much as they deny this, are still too immature and unstable to support such a thing like love. Even I am, so I choose not to believe until it hits me years from now. So in place of love, what should you be looking for? Well, in all honesty, put your happiness ahead of everything, then worry about education and friends. If you spend your time looking for love, you will more than likely find troubles. Instead of attempting to find love, try to find what it is that you want in a mate, down to the specifics. So you know that whoever you wind up with will make you happy just being thereselves. Personally, I'm having a hard time looking for what I want. Because after the turmoil of my love life from summer 2009 to present times, there's nothing I really want. If you let yourself become so vulnerable that a significant otherĀ can come into your mind, change the way you think, stab you in the back and leave you is just beyond me. My mind is basically recovering from all of that confusion. On top of that, I really only have time to think about my finances, my happiness, my social life, and my education.
